Description

This is my first try of NGC6820 (aka SH2-86) an intriguing emission nebula in Vulpecula. The center includes NGC6823 an open cluster of young blue stars.  There is a trunk-like pillar of gas protruding on the side, along with dark globules of dust around the center of the nebula. I photographed this target on 27 and 28 of May not  knowing how difficult it would be to produce a final rendition of this beauty. After several attempts and correcting errors from every iteration I believe the picture is final. I cropped the dark very starry  surroundings to concentrate in the center. Overall I shot 6 hours and then had to dispose some subs that had guiding problems.
